Reminder to control your dog when farm animals are nearby

In the past day or two a black and white spaniel wearing a harness has been running free through the village and worrying lambs in a field by the roadside and has killed a chicken. Wiltshire Chief Constable Catherine Roper said: “I am asking dog owners to please be considerate of those farming the land and there by making sure that they keep their pets securely on a lead when they are walking anywhere near farm animals."
