About the Stratford sub Castle Cafés
A community café at the Reading Room is organised once a month on a Sunday during the months of May to September inclusive. Beverages and cakes, kitchen and garden produce, along with preloved books are on offer inside the hall, with seating in the garden too. There is also a Christmas Special lunchtime café on a Saturday in December. The proceeds of all the cafés are donated to local charities/community. Please note that we can only accept cash payments.
Come along or volunteer to help, either way you will be most welcome. More volunteers will be needed for 2026 - see Newspost dated 11 September below, and in the News section.
