The letter below has been sent to the village website by the City of Salisbury Athletics and Running Club for public circulation. It concerns local road closures on Sunday 12 April 2026. "To whom it may concern, We would like to inform you of a road closure along the A360, Philips Lane (C56) and Beech Walk (C294) North bound on Sunday 12th April 2026 between 10:00 and 12:00. Waters Road closure
Waters Road has been closed whilst Wessex Water install smart water meters. The R12 , R11 and R4 buses will therefore follow diversion routes.

Streetlights not working?

Damaged sign reported to MyWiltshire over two years ago, STILL not repaired
As this sign has still not been repaired, a request for a review/update has been submitted using the MyWiltshire app. 17 March 2025. Footpath News
Repairs have recently been made to the footpath near Mill Lane pedestrian bridge. A request for an improvement was made in April 2024 using the MyWiltshire app. The path had sunk in places and groundwater was not draining away, making the path impassable at times. Restricted road and pavement outside the Reading Room

Ashley Road 'parallel' crossing - cycle lane obstructed again
The surface on the cycle path near Ashley Road has been removed and will be replaced by a non-skid surface. News from 27 September The image above left, taken on Saturday 27 September, shows the crossing back in operation. Gradidge Lane sign finally returns....
