Salisbury District Hospital may contact patients by using Text messages from the number 07860 039092 and emails from no-reply@drdoctor.co.uk
The NHS Salisbury website explains:

"We have partnered with DrDoctor to support sending digital communications about your care. Patients will receive text message and/or email reminders about upcoming outpatient appointments they have at the hospital. Text messages may also now be used for information relating to appointment bookings.
If you are waiting for an appointment, we will contact you as soon as one becomes available. You will receive a letter confirming your appointment but may also receive a telephone and text confirmation too (depending on the clinic and booking timeframe).
For last-minute cancellations, we are now sending texts to eligible patients to offer short-notice appointment slots. The text will include information about the available appointment, and patients who are free to attend the short-notice slot will need to ring the number listed on the message to confirm their availability. This approach will only be used for short-notice slots that become available and therefore will be filled on a first come first served basis.
Text messages will come from the number 07860 039092.
Emails will come from no-reply@drdoctor.co.uk
All patients are automatically opted in to receiving digital communication, including these appointment texts. Please make sure the team you are seeing have the correct contact details for you so you can access this service.
Opting out of notifications from DrDoctor means that you will not receive any digital notifications relating to any features of DrDoctor. This includes Text notifications, Digital Letters, Digital Assessments and Video Consultations.
For guidance on how to opt back in, please read this document."
