Captain James Maclean lead the wreath-laying ceremony in St Lawrence churchyard 2026

Friday 24 April is the nearest schoolday to Anzac Day which is observed in Australia, New Zealand and other countries on 25 April. After a short service at 11 am in St Lawrence Church, Stratford Road, Stratford sub Castle SP1 3LL, pupils from Stratford school laid posies on the Anzac graves in the churchyard.
