The first meeting in the 40th year of the Garden Club is on Thursday 24 September 7.15 pm  for 7.30 pm in the Reading Room SP1 3LL, opposite St Lawrence Church.

Our speaker for this first meeting is Laura Hall - her talk is entitled “Creating Sustainable Wildlife Features in your Garden”.

Laura is a gardener and garden designer – as many of you will know if you visited her lovely garden during the June “Open Gardens”.

The meetings following this are:

29 October “Putting the Garden to bed for winter” – Roger Hirons.

26 November "Walled gardens” – Phil Broomfield

No meeting in December.

2027

28 January   “Square metre gardening – Claire Hart

25 February at 2.30pm - “The thin brown line” - Pauline Weeks

25 March “The making of 2 gardens” – David Haselgrove

29 April “The land of Frankincense” – Michael Bowyer

27 May   “Scents and Scentability” – Kari-Astri Davies

24 June AGM

The membership fee is £20.00 and Visitors £5.00 - this includes tea/coffee and biscuits of course!

Please note that the February meeting is at 2.30 pm not 7.30 pm – we hope that this will encourage you out in the depths of winter!
