Our AGM will be held on Thursday June 26th at 7.30pm.  This meeting will be held in the Reading Room, Stratford Road SP1 3LL, as usual. The business part of the meeting will be very short, our Treasurer, Alison, will share the Financial Report and I will report on speakers and next year’s programme.

Following the business part of the meeting Dorothy Richards will be talking to us on ‘Plants that I cannot do without’. There will be samples of these plants and slides.

Following the talk there will be a Plant Sale. Please bring along any excess plants that could be sold in the sale.  All monies raised will go to club funds. Only proviso is – if the plants are not sold you must take them home with you!

I will spend one more year in the role of Programme Secretary. The club urgently needs more help on the committee. We have “managed” without a secretary or Chairman for 2 years now – can you help?

Having a secretary would enable us to reach out to our members more easily and further afield. Currently we work on a “rolling chairman” role – not ideal but the best that we can do in the circumstances.

We do hope that you will join us for the evening – if not a member come as a visitor – you will have an enjoyable evening – ending with tea/coffee and biscuits!

Jeff Long - Programme Secretary.
