Stratford sub Castle Lunchtime Christmas Café Special

Saturday 6th December 2025

11.00am to 2.00pm In the Reading Room

Come along and join in the festive atmosphere at this year’s Christmas Café Special. Everyone is welcome, the more the merrier.

The doors will open at 11.00am for morning coffee and from 12 noon we will be offering a choice of fabulous homemade soups and bread, as well as homemade savoury cheese scones with cheese, grapes and chutney.

Mulled Wine, beverages, festive cakes and mince pies will be available throughout.

Our produce table will be selling a variety of festive items ideal for gifts, plus a raffle for your chance to win a ‘Festive Foods Hamper’ and many other prizes.

Please note that the raffle will be drawn (silently) at 1.30pm and tickets assigned to prizes, which means you will need to check in person to see if you have a winning ticket and claim your prize before 2.00pm closing.

Anyone wishing to contribute items for the produce table or the raffle can still do so. Either contact me to arrange or bring items along on the day for opening time.

(We regret that dogs, other than assistance dogs, cannot be accommodated in the main hall due to safety reasons.)

CASH PAYMENTS ONLY PLEASE

All proceeds raised at the Christmas café will be divided equally and donated between:

  • Salisbury Food Bank, who provide 3 days’ worth of emergency food and toiletries, plus support, to people in need in Salisbury and the surrounding areas

    and

  • John McNeill Opportunity Centre, which is South Wiltshire’s only specialist nursery for children with difficulties and disabilities, who also provide help to support their parents/carers.

On behalf of the café helpers, I would like to thank you for your continued support and to wish you and your families the very best for the festive season.

We look forward to seeing you at the café.
