Road Closures on Sunday 12 April

The letter below has been sent to the village website by the City of Salisbury Athletics and Running Club for public circulation.

It concerns local road closures on Sunday 12 April 2026.

"To whom it may concern,

We would like to inform you of a road closure along the A360, Philips Lane (C56) and Beech Walk (C294) North bound on Sunday 12th April 2026 between 10:00 and 12:00. This is for the Salisbury 10 mile road race, to ensure the safety of the runners.

Details of the road closures are 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. 8. Traffic will be held at Ashley Road, Butts Road and Castle Road between 10:00 and 10:05 to allow the runners to pass through the area. C56 (Part) Phillips Lane, Salisbury; from its junction with A345 in a Westerly direction closed between 10:00 and 12:00. C56 (part) Phillips Lane, Salisbury Northbound only from its junction with Stratford Bridge/Stratford Road will be closed between 10:00 and 12:00.

The road crossing at Beech walk and C42 will be controlled by Bradsons Traffic Management between 10:00 and 12:00. C57 (Part) Camp Hill, Woodford; from its junction with A360 to its junction with C42 will be closed between 10:00 and 12:00. C283 (Part) Church Bottom, Woodford; from its junction with A360 to its junction with C42 will be closed between 10:00 and 12:00. C42 (Part), Woodford–Southbound only; from its junction with Woodford Bridge. The traffic at the road junction will be controlled by Bradsons Traffic Management between 10:20 and 11:20. C294 (Part) High Post C56, Durnford; to the junction to C42 Woodford Bridge. The traffic at the road junction will be controlled by Bradsons Traffic Management between 10:20 and 11:20.
