Road closures during Race for Life - Stratford Road re-opened

The runners and walkers taking part in both the 5k and 10k routes have now passed along Stratford Road . The 'Road Closed' signs and direction arrows have just been removed, and the race marshalls collected.
Note, however, that there will may still be closures on other sections of the route until later in the day.

Expect road closures and delays on the roads around Stratford sub Castle for the annual ‘Race for Life’ organised by Cancer Research. Note that the morning service at St Lawrence Church has been cancelled.
Runners, walkers and joggers have a choice of two circular routes both will start and finish at Hudson’s Field. The 10 km race starts at 10am taking participants to Middle Woodford: the shorter 5 km race starts at 11am.
