The Boardwalk is temporarily closed at its southern end, within sight of the Information Board for the Avon Valley Nature Reserve. However, the boardwalk is passable from the Stratford direction up to this point and provided a very pleasant walk this afternoon.
An alternative route past the allotments gave a view of the work in progress which when completed will link the existing boardwalk to the new elevated sections. Today there was pedestrian access to Coldharbour Lane by turning right at these barriers onto a path that passes the willow sculpture.
