Report Fraud service replaces Action Fraud

Effective 4 December 2025, Report Fraud is the 'go to' service to report cyber crime or fraud using our online reporting service  any time of the day or night; the service enables you to both report a fraud and find help and support. We also provide help and advice over the phone through the Report Fraud contact centre. You can talk to our cyber crime and fraud specialists by calling 0300 123 2040.

When you report to us you will receive a police crime reference number. Reports taken are passed to Report Fraud Analysis Services. Report Fraud does not investigate the cases and cannot advise you on the progress of a case.

Report Fraud will help victims of fraud

If you have been exposed to fraudulent activity, our Victim Support team are on hand to provide the guidance and support needed to move forward. This is a completely free and confidential service available to everyone in England & Wales who are victims of fraud.
