Bunting has appeared along the hedge bordering Stratford Road outside St Lawrence Church, with just a few days to go before the Community Weekend. Similar events were held in Stratford sub Castle in 2022 for the Jubilee celebrations and in 2023 for the Coronation of King Charles III.
These are the planned activities for the coming weekend:
Saturday 23 May 10am - 2 pm at the Reading Room and St Lawrence Church:
Café - BBQ - Stands/displays by local groups - Demonstration of stone carving - Bouncy castle - Games - Art & Sculpture on display.
Sunday 24 May - 3 pm Songs of Praise at 3 pm ouotside in St Lawrence Churchyard
