In the mid 17thC Parliament set about selling off Crown and Church Lands. To do so they drew up surveys detailing buildings and lands.
Those surveys for the Mawarden Court and Subchanter (which included Parsonage Farm) Estates in Stratford sub Castle, have been examined and transcribed in a new article, hosted by the village local history group accessible via their open access page here.
