Garden Club's October talk - Dahlias

The October meeting will be held on Thursday 26th October at 7.30pm in the Reading Room, Stratford Road SP1 3LL (across from St Lawrence Church), when Katherine Crouch will speak on “Dahlias”.

We have often been asked to find a speaker on Dahlias – so now is your chance to learn all about them! Coffee and Biscuits will follow after the talk.

The programme for the rest of the year is as follows:

NOVEMBER 30TH – Penelope Ibbs from Bourne Hill Garden & Salisbury Garden volunteers.

NO MEETING IN DECEMBER

JANUARY 25TH 2024 – John Hallett will tell us about the Japanese garden at Kingston Lacey.

FEBRUARY 29TH – Michael Bowyer will talk to us about the 2022 Flower Festival in the Cathedral. We all marvelled at the displays, so it will be interesting to find out more about the event.

MARCH 28TH - Lynda Warren will be with us to talk about WW2 Gardens.

APRIL 25TH – The talk by Pauline Weeks is entitled “The Wild Bunch in the Garden”.

MAY 30TH – Sally Morgan “A Healthy Garden – a chemical free approach”

JUNE 27TH - would be the AGM – a blank canvas at the moment!

The membership fee for this year is £18 – Visitors £4 per meeting

Looking forward to seeing you at the October meeting.

Jeff Long – Programme Secretary.
