This event has now taken place - many thanks to all those people who bought tickets.

If you're free on Friday 6 March at 7.30 pm, please support the fundraising talk organised by The Friends of St Lawrence Church.

This will be our first fundraising event in 2026, a talk in the Reading Room by Spencer Bull a British Army veteran who was medically discharged in 2017, following an MS diagnosis.

Spencer is an accomplished INVICTUS Games athlete who will share through his talk ‘Resilience’, a personal and powerful story of strength, purpose, and positivity in the face of life-changing adversity.

If you are wondering how Spencer was able to access the mountain on which he is pictured here, do come along to his talk to find out!

After the talk there will be the usual opportunity to chat with the speaker and other members of the audience.

Ticket details removed as the event has now taken place.
