The May meeting of the club is on Thursday 29th May at 7.15 pm for 7.30 pm in the Reading Room, Stratford Road SP1 3LL. The topic is “Horatio’s Garden”.

Our speaker will be Lucy Thorpe who is the Head Gardener at Horatio’s Garden South West, located at the Duke of Cornwall Spinal Treatment Centre in Salisbury District Hospital. The garden has been described as having a very naturalistic and wildlife friendly planting scheme.

Lucy will be telling us about the garden and this remarkable organisation which is dedicated to designing and maintaining stunning gardens within NHS spinal injury centres, aiming to enhance the mental health, wellbeing, and recovery of individuals impacted by spinal injuries.

We hope that you will be able to join us at this meeting. Membership of the club is £18 pa and visitors £4 per meeting. Tea/coffee and biscuits follow the talk. All are most welcome.
