Our May meeting is on Thursday 30 May at 7.30 pm in the Reading Room opposite St Lawrence Church. The speaker is Sally Morgan who will be talking about 'A Healthy Garden - a chemical-free approach'.
Tea/coffee and biscuits will be available after the talk.
This is a return visit - the speaker gave a talk to the Garden Club about 'The Climate Change Garden' in 2023.
The June meeting is on Thursday 27 June - this will be our AGM. The actual AGM will be very short, just covering the Finances and the speaker programme for the coming year, starting in September. The remainder of the evening is over to you! We hope that many of you will turn up with plants for sale, to help boost our funds - speakers and travelling expenses are getting more and more expensive.
For the club to continue we need more help. We could reach out to far more people etc. if we had someone to manage publicity and another person to take on the role of Chairman.
Please think about how you could help. The future of the club depends upon all of its members, not just a few.
