About the Stratford sub Castle Cafés
A community café at the Reading Room is organised once a month on a Sunday during the months of May to September inclusive. Beverages and cakes, kitchen and garden produce, preloved books (and NEW for 2024, vinyl records) are all on offer inside the hall, with seating in the garden too. There is also a Christmas Special lunchtime café on a Saturday in December. The proceeds of all the cafés are donated to local charities/community. Please note that we can only accept cash payments.
Come along or volunteer to help, either way you will be most welcome.

7 July - Home Start, South Wilts

4 August - Wiltshire Air Ambulance
£374 was raised.
1 September - Community Defibrillator Funds
£547 was raised.
The Summer Cafés were followed by:
A Festive Lunchtime Christmas Café on Saturday 7 December
- proceeds of £430 were donated to Julia's House and £430 to Morning Star, Salisbury, as well as £25 each to the Parish Magazine and the Village Website to help with their running costs.
