Community Defibrillator - installed in September 2018 on the outside wall of the
Reading Room, Stratford Road, Stratford sub Castle SP1 3LL
Dial 999 to report an emergency - you will be given the access code.
Volunteers check the defibrillator every week and whenever it has been used, on a rota basis. If you use the defibrillator or notice a problem please check the rota and contact the person responsible.

Kerbside Collections
With effective from March 2022, fortnightly Collections will take place on:
Mondays for Household waste and recycling bins
Thursdays for Garden bins
Timetables are changed at Christmas/New Year but collections continue as normal on other bank holidays.

Household Recycling Centre - Churchfields Industrial Estate, Salisbury SP2 7NP
Opening Hours (Salisbury):

Summer (1 April to 31 October) open 9am to 4pm 6 days a week. (closed Thursdays).

Winter (1 November to 31 March) open 10am to 4pm 5 days a week (closed on Thursdays and Fridays.)

Operated by FCC Environment on behalf of Wiltshire Council.
Proof of identity/residency in Wiltshire may be requested when entering the centre.
Mobile Library Van - fortnightly visits to Stratford sub Castle (Castle Keep) on a Wednesday between 10:55 am to 11:20 am.
Books may be borrowed for up to 4 weeks, to fit in with the fortnightly visit dates although they can be returned to any Wiltshire library.

Wiltshire Council's public-facing staff are continuing to wear a face-mask. This includes staff who work in libraries/mobile libraries. It is hoped that the public will do likewise. Please note that only one customer is allowed in the mobile library at a time, with exceptions made for family groups.

Post Collection Times - vary throughout SsC. Latest collection s from Stratford 'Old Sarum View' post box on Stratford Road nr Mill Lane:
4 pm Monday - Friday, Saturday 12 noon, Sundays - no collections.
There is a later collection from the Royal Mail sorting office in Fisherton Street, Salisbury.
