Sedge WarblerSedge Warbler, Acrocephalus schoenobaenus, on Old Sarum, Sept 2019, will be going home in the next month or so to Africa, south of the Sahara, about 2500 miles. As the Sahara is expanding the journey is getting longer and harder. Those with the most fat as aviation fuel will make it without stopping.
