New local walk - Stratford to the Salisbury Riverpark boardwalks

A new walk 'Stratford sub Castle to the new Riverpark boardwalks', has been added to the website's collection of local walks.
The detailed and illustrated route avoids the currently flooded approach to the old boardwalk (see image below) and instead joins the boardwalk near the allotments but still making a riverside approach through the Avon Valley Nature Reserve into the new Riverpark .
The circular walk is approximately 2.6 miles and can be started at Mill Lane or Five Rivers Leisure Centre.

The suggested route avoids the northern end of the boardwalk (image right).

A heads-up that the footpath at the end of Mill Lane just before the bridge can be flooded at times. Wellingtons are then a good footwear choice!
