Road Races affecting local roads and pathways - next race Sunday 8 June

Updated details.
A heads-up that there will be delays to traffic around Stratford sub Castle on the following dates 10 May, 25 May, 8 June although road closures have only been agreed for the 8 June event.
Sunday 8 June two events for 'Race for Life Salisbury' (Cancer Research) both starting at Hudson's Field:
10k race starts at 1000
5k race starts at 1100
Road closure signs have been placed on Stratford Road near Shakespeare Road and on Stratford Bridge advising that the road will be closed from 9 am to 2 pm. Participants and their supporters will be parking in and around Hudson's Field.
A sign at Phillips Lane advises it will be closed at its junction with the A345 (Beehive). The Durnford Road (C294) will also be closed.

There are signs publicising this event on Stratford Road and Durnford Road.
Saturday 10 May Stonehenge Trek 26 0500 - 2100. (Charity Event)
No road closures advised. Walkers will be crossing Stratford Road where yellow arrows mark the route. Also includes the cycleway/footpath from Stratford Road towards FIve Rivers Centre and from there into town.
