Our first meeting of the new season will be on Thursday 28 September at 7.30pm in the Reading Room SP1 3LL. The speaker for this month is Gillian Taylor who will talk about “My Greenhouse Year”.
The talk will cover design/over-wintering of tender plants / propagation / flowers & veg – in fact anything to do with Greenhouses. This promises to be an interesting talk and will be followed as usual with tea or coffee.
The fees for this year are as follows: Membership £18 for the year, Visitors £4 per meeting.
Last year we struggled to get people onto the committee. We now have new people on the very small committee, but we still need a Chairman and a Secretary. If you feel able to help, we would love to talk to you – please make yourself known to me in the first instance.
