Community Defibrillator - installed in September 2018 on the outside wall of the
Reading Room, Stratford Road, Stratford sub Castle SP1 3LL
Dial 999 to report an emergency - you will be given the access code.
Volunteers check the defibrillator every week and whenever it has been used, on a rota basis. If you use the defibrillator or notice a problem please check the rota and contact the person responsible.

Fortnightly Collections take place generally on Thursdays for Household Rubbish and Garden bins
and on Mondays for Recycling bins.
Timetables are changed at Christmas/New Year but collections continue as normal on other bank holidays.

Household Recycling Centre - Churchfields Industrial Estate, Salisbury SP2 7NP
WITH EFFECT FROM MONDAY 8 JUNE 2020, visits must be pre-booked
by using the Wiltshire Council website bookings system
Summer (1 April to 31 October) open 9am to 4pm 6 days a week. (closed Thursdays).
Winter (1 November to 31 March) open 10am to 4pm 5 days a week (closed on Thursdays and Fridays.)

Effective April 2018 - Proof of identity/residency in Wiltshire may be requested when entering the centre.
You will need to wear a face covering when on board (unless you are exempt)
They are only able to allow one person on board at a time ( this is a requirement from Government public health)
Please use the provided hand sanitiser next to the steps, before entering the library
Browsing will be limited to 5 minutes if people are waiting
Any returned books should be placed in the labelled crate near the door when you arrive.
All books will be quarantined for 72 hours before being put back onto library shelves.
Contact details are required as part of the COVID-19 test and trace system. Please give your name and phone number at the counter when you have chosen your books. Alternatively there is a QR code that you can use if you have the test and trace app on your phone.

Mobile Library Van - fortnightly visits to Stratford sub Castle (Castle Keep) on a Wednesday between 10:55 am to 11:20 am.
The service was suspended during Coronavirus lockdown but will resume its fortnightly visits on 28 April 2021 with the following special arrangements to ensure that the mobile library is a Covid-safe place:

4 pm Monday - Friday, Saturday 12 noon, Sundays - no collections.
There is a later collection from the Royal Mail sorting office in Fisherton Street, Salisbury.
