As some of you will know already, I am trying to save the last globally full-bodied Bristol Britannia built for the Royal Air Force.

I first flew the Britannia in 1959 when on 99 Squadron and this particular aircraft last in 1966. So she is very close to my heart. But Covid 19 has cut-off our almost sole source of funds, namely Visitor voluntary donations, as Cotswold Airport has been closed since March. As such, planned repainting in the next two months is in severe jeopardy and Funds are needed urgently.

Therefore, I have decided to 'Walk the Squadron' i.e. 99 miles to raise an initial £5,000 to cover the immediate costs of aircraft cleaning, preparation and painting.

I am using the fundraiser website GoFund Me and account "Walk The Squadron 99"

To date I have raised £1923 and walked 13 and a half miles. Any help you might wish to give my Appeal would be most welcome.
