Theft from a Stratford garden

News from Richard Death

I am sorry to report that one of our Neighbourhood Watch households suffered the theft of a large and expensive piece of garden machinery (sit-on lawn mower) last night, Thursday 21 May. It appears it was a targeted attack, and involved the removal of several padlocks from various doors and gates and the cutting of a garden fence so that the mower could be transported away on a trailer of some sort.

Given the sophistication and determination of the thieves, it is difficult to know what to do to prevent this type of attack but perhaps we should all try to identify any weaknesses in our current security procedures.
