Road Race Sunday 9 June - local roads have now been reopened

The runners and walkers who took part in the 5k and 10k events this morning have now returned to Hudson's Field. Medals and certificates have been awarded, and the local roads have now been re-opened.

The annual Race for Life in aid of Cancer Research will take place on Sunday 9 June. The 10k race will start from Hudson's Field at 10 am, the 5k race at 11am.

Road closures are advertised locally for Stratford Road from between 9 am

and 2 pm and will affect other local roads including Phillips Lane - see map below. Residents need to be aware of this closure if they plan to leave or return to their homes on Sunday.
