A very good turnout of 25 members on 9 September enjoyed hearing about Terry Ereira’s experiences of somewhat “off-the-wall” answers to exam questions
submitted during his many years of teaching in London.
As the meeting was conducted using Zoom, and most of the participants felt that it was a success, we have decided to continue with this approach for the rest of the calendar year.
Our next “meeting” will be on 14th October when I will be recounting a few
tales from my time in an Electronics Research lab:
“Tales from the Research Lab - 'How I ended up doing something I said I never would.”
In November Jane Court will give us a talk entitled
“How the Soviet Union Secretly Mapped the World yet missed out Stratford sub Castle”
and we will discuss the options for the December meeting at the end of the next meeting.
If you are not a member of the Guild and would like to join the meeting please contact me - it’s free during the current restrictions.
