Facemasks with a seasonal flair (other materials are available)....

News from Janet Death

In order to continue supporting Kidasha at a time of extreme poverty in Nepal due to lack of government support of the poorest families, I am continuing to make face coverings for sale.

Having made over 200 previously, I have adapted the design as follows:

· Three layers of fabric as recommended by WHO. At least one layer is cotton, and at least one layer of a different fabric. Scientific research has shown that different fabrics together provide an electrostatic charge which helps to prevent the passage of viruses.

· Pleated design as I've found that this provides a better fit and coverage. (I can still provide the shaped style on request.)

· A wire across the nose area which can help to prevent fogging of glasses. (However I can't guarantee no fogging!) The wire is plastic coated garden wire, so will not rust.

· Elastic ear loops. These were by far the most popular previously but on request ties can be substituted for the elastic.

I have a good range of colours and designs and have now made several in Christmas fabric (see image above). Feel free to make a specific request.

Please see the poster on the website's virtual noticeboard for a few examples of fabric and get in touch to place an order: 01722 333064 or 01722 335691

As stated above, proceeds will go to Kidasha and I am now asking for a minimum donation of £5 per mask.
