'Coronation' Café - Sunday 7 May

Official Coronation emblem. Café is the following day.

I am pleased to announce that the Sunday Cafés are set to continue again this year, starting on the 7th May with a special café to celebrate the coronation of King Charles, opening at the earlier time of 2.00pm and closing around 4.30pm.

We will be offering a free drink and a small cake to children aged 11 years or under and we will have some outdoor activities for all children to enjoy, including hoopla and a darts board. There will also be colouring sheets & crayons and cardboard crowns available.

For the adults, what could be nicer than a cuppa with a delicious cake or cream tea, after bagging a bargain preloved book or some plants and produce from our kitchen/garden table. New for this year, we will be promoting a Seed Swop Box for anyone to donate spare packets of seeds/self-collected seeds (labelled) and for anyone to take a packet to grow.

Unfortunately, we are not able to accept card payments.

To boost our supplies, we would appreciate your donations of books (especially novels) or kitchen and garden produce, so please liaise with contacts listed below, or bring items along on the day at the start of the café.

To ensure you don’t miss out, please make a note of the following café dates and our chosen charities:

7th MAY – Alzheimer’s Wiltshire, Scots Lane, Salisbury

4th JUNE - Salisbury Hospice

2nd JULY – Childrens Chance, Salisbury

6th AUG – The Pantry Partnership, Victoria Park, Salisbury
