The Garden Club meets in the Reading Room SP1 3LL on a Thursday evening, 7.15 pm for 7.30 pm


30 September - 7 pm AGM followed at 7.30 pm by Speaker - John Tucker: 

'Dare to be bold, even in the smallest garden”.

Ideas of using differing height, colours and textures to set the mood of the garden.

28th October Speaker - Dave Moon will be talking about the history, supported by pictures, of the National Garden Scheme (NGS). Visiting gardens gives you loads of ideas as well as being relaxing and fascinating to see what other people do. There are some good gardens to visit locally and your entrance fee goes to charity so a ‘win win’ situation. Do come, 7.15 for 7.30pm


25th November Speaker - Nick Gilbert on the Gilbert Dahlia Year.

The Gilbert Nursery grows over 400 varieties of dahlias; they hybridize to get their own new varieties. Nick has appeared on Gardeners’ World, in the national press and on Radio 4’s Gardeners’ Question Time.

31st March Ray Broughton “Making the most of your Garden”

28th April Garden Club members “What we did to our gardens during lockdown”
