Summer Sunday Café

19 Apr 2016
By Barbara Mayall
Summer is upon us and we have our first Sunday café of the season on the 8th of MAY from 2.30pm to 5.00pm in the Reading Room (opp. St Lawrence Church) where there is plenty of free parking. Everyone is welcome.
Why not ‘Indulge In’ one of our delicious cream teas or homemade cakes (including at least one Gluten free/Dairy free option) in our pretty garden, or ‘Browse and Buy’ something from our book stall or produce stall, to take away and enjoy later, or just ‘Relax and Chat’ with friends, family or neighbours over a cup of tea or coffee.
We are ready to start accepting contributions of any pre loved books that you can spare (especially novels) and, any seasonal garden or kitchen produce items. Use contacts listed below to arrange, or bring items along on the day at the start of the café.
All of the proceeds from the May café will be donated to Headway Salisbury & South Wilts, who provide help and support for people with brain injury, to help them live as independently as possible.
Next month the café will be on Sunday 5th June and our chosen charity will be The Family Counselling Trust Wiltshire.
Our team of willing volunteers are all looking forward to making this a great first cafe and a great season and we all look forward to seeing you on the day, whatever the weather.
