Situated at the end of the High Street, this is a stylish and lively restaurant with contemporary artwork. Large and open plan it is the ideal venue for both large groups and intimate dining. There is also a small patio garden which offers al fresco dining. On some Wednesday evenings there is live music and we advise booking to avoid disappointment. We also cater for children's parties - please contact the restaurant for more details.

St Lawrence, Stratford sub Castle band of Bellringers was formed in 1998 as a consequence of the installation of the new ring of six bells in the church. A number of villagers had learned to ring at St. Thomas` in Salisbury in preparation for "Ringing in the Millennium".
The Society meets in the Reading Room, in the village, at 7.30pm on the last Thursday of the month – September to November and January to June. The Society is open to everyone with an interest in gardens, plants and gardening and is especially useful if you are a new gardener or have just moved into the area. We have a good programme of speakers and visits throughout the year and new members and visitors are most welcome. Annual membership is £10 and a charge of £2.00 per meeting is made for visitors. Meetings are relaxed and friendly with tea/coffee and biscuits following the speaker.
Members of the Guild are a friendly, mixed group of people who get together on the second Wednesday of each month from September through to June and our aim is to be informative, entertaining and to promote a sense of community spirit.
