We are an informal, mixed group of people who get together on the second Wednesday of the month in the Reading Room at 7.30 pm for a programme of talks, (usually with a local emphasis) ending about 9.00pm after tea/coffee and biscuits. The Guild is open to everyone and our aim is to be informative, entertaining and to promote a sense of community spirit. We are always happy to welcome new members. You can become a member for the very reasonable annual fee of £6, or come as a guest to one of our meetings, for which a £2 charge is made. Recent evenings have included talks on Faberge, Edward Lear – poet, Fovant Badges, the River Stour, Sights & Sounds of Nature and The Cherokee Indians. We also have a summer and Christmas social evening.
